My Opinion is mine, thats it and thats all.
A Question I was asked today!
So do your art show anywhere?
& My answer:
Nope, I just do it cause its what I love to do, since I could pick up a crayon. I don’t want anyone to take that away from me with their positive and or negative outlook on what I make. The art scene is brutal and they will never be allowed to take my passion away from me, I hardly ever sell it unless my friends are interested.
I feel like I would be selling apart of myself which I am not okay with. But normally when someone asks for something I paint something specifically for them so there is no emotional attachment to it.
I feel that there are a lot of people who do it as a trend these days, I mean anyone can being creative and create but How much of themselves are they really putting into that piece? Are they doing it for fame? Money? The scene?, Its really hard to find people who are really devoted to it, and to find someone who really LOVES art, rarely happens anymore.
I also don’t agree with art schools either, I have seen kids waste so much time, money, and energy on these schools and by the time they graduate those classes has sucked the passion (if they had it) right out of them, leaving them completely uninterested to make art anymore. Its really fucking sad.
If you are a real artist the skills will come natural to you, I don’t think you should take a class on it, you should just throw the fucking paint on the canvas and run with your emotional and soulful ideals, let it flow naturally and whatever is the end result is and always will be beautiful.
If that makes sense. I always speak backwards.
again, that is just my opinion. I am sure you have your own.
